The server records who did what, in money terms. It's append-only and hash-chained: each entry carries the hash of the one before, so editing a line later breaks the chain visibly.
Telematics and safety built in
Samsara-equipped trucks report odometer, location, diagnostics and fault codes automatically. Free NHTSA services decode VINs and flag open safety recalls across the fleet — no API key needed.
Book-time lookups with your own key
Published labor-time estimates from self-serve providers, using the shop's own free API key — the data license is yours, not ours. One click inserts a time as a labor line, always labeled an estimate.

CSV export of work orders and parts, plus a one-click full backup of the whole database. Your data is yours on the day you sign up and the day you leave.
What it does

Work orders
One per job, per vehicle: labor, parts pulled live from inventory, other charges. Prints a customer invoice with totals and tax, or a job ticket for the floor with no pricing.
The job clock
Tap start on a phone in the bay, tap stop when the wrench goes down — the elapsed time becomes a labor line at that tech's rate. Completing a job bills its clocks automatically, so time is never orphaned.
Estimates
Quote a job without touching stock or the vehicle's status. One click approves it into a live work order, pulling parts and flagging anything you don't carry.
Warranty & comebacks
Mark a redo as a comeback and it becomes a no-charge job: the invoice prints NO CHARGE, revenue stays honest, and the labor and parts it burned stay visible.
Vehicles & equipment
Trucks with VINs, plates and mileage; generators, compressors and lifts with hour meters. Service history, cost per mile, downtime per unit. CSV import onboards a whole fleet at once.
Parts inventory
